(Wednesday 26th February 2025) 48 Hours Left to Apply for Mountmellick Credit Union’s 2025 Community Fund!
Attention all local clubs, community groups, and organisations—there are just two days left to apply for Mountmellick Credit Union’s 2025 Community Fund. This is your last chance to secure funding to help support your group’s work in the local community. The deadline for applications is Friday 28th February 2025.
The Mountmellick Credit Union Community Fund provides up to €1,000 per group, with a total of €30,000 available for distribution this year. Whether you’re involved in youth clubs, sports teams, charities, or social enterprises, this fund is designed to give financial assistance to the people and projects making a real difference in Mountmellick, Rathangan, Clonaslee and surrounding areas.
Mountmellick Credit Union is committed to supporting the local community—not just through this fund but also with our savings accounts, flexible personal loans, car loans, low rate education loans, and greener home loans. Our aim is to help local people, businesses, and organisations thrive by offering ethical and member-focused financial services.
Danielle Fitzsimons, Head of Marketing at Mountmellick Credit Union, said, "We are incredibly fortunate to be in a position to give back to the community in this way. By investing in local organisations, we’re not just providing financial support—we’re strengthening the community spirit that makes our area so special. This fund is a testament to the Credit Union’s core values: people helping people.”
Previous beneficiaries include Mountmellick Men’s Shed, which used the funding to expand its activities and provide a welcoming space for members, and Mountmellick Mácra, which received support for key initiatives that help sustain and develop their group.
If you’re involved in a local organisation that could benefit from this funding, don’t miss out.
Let’s continue building a stronger, more vibrant community together!
