Fraud Alert

We want to alert our members to a growing number of scams involving fraudulent phone calls from individuals claiming to represent Credit Unions.

These fraudsters have mentioned member’s Life Assurance with the Credit Union.

There have been other occasions where scam artists have requested an upfront payment, often around €1,000, promising that a loan will be disbursed once the payment is received.

If you are in doubt as to a caller's identity, always hang up and call us directly on 057 862 4425 to check.
